Montsant
Montsant is a small area whose vineyards are situated in mountains
overlooking the Mediterranean in Tarragona province. It adjoins the
more well known (and much hyped) Priorat area and produces wines of a
similar style but far lower price. Garnacha is the main grape yielding
fruity and powerful reds and well structured whites with typical
Mediterranean herby notes.
