Jumilla
Jumilla is located in the South Eastern provinces of Murcia and
Albacete, not far from the popular tourist area of Mar Menor. The
region is a microcosm for Spain’s modern wine industry having
transformed itself in the last 25 years from producing wines in bulk to
offering full bodied, flavourful red wines of good quality and value
for money. These are largely made with the local Monastrell grape
although Tempranillo, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon are also used. |
